Funding

The PTBI is the Provision Trade Charity. It has always depended on the subscriptions from its members and the donations of its supporters, which today are mainly companies in the Trade – but we are also fortunate in having a number of generous individuals who support us with regular contributions. 

Our largest benefactor is the Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust which provides a substantial proportion of our income via annual grants.

We also receive a great deal of support, both financial and practical, from our associated trade organisation, the Provision Trade Federation.
